St. Vornholt completed his training and subsequent examination as a state-certified and approved insemination technician for horses in 1997. Professionally, he worked at the Schockemöhle stallion station and the St. Ludwig stud farm.
MARE INSEMINATION
- Insemination of your mare with fresh semen
- Artificial insemination of your mare with frozen semen (Only at the station)
- Insemination of your mare with any available stallion is possible.
- The insemination is carried out on behalf of the respective stallion station.
- The mare testing the stallion
- Follicle checks and ultrasound diagnostics (station veterinarian)
- Uterine flushing (station veterinarian)
- Pregnancy examination (station veterinarian)
- Quality assessment of the seed under the microscope
- Artificial insemination times at the station are available anytime by prior telephone appointment. Only vaccinated mares (tetanus, influenza, herpes) from a healthy herd are permitted; a certificate is required.
- Veterinary services, medications and laboratory costs are billed directly by our on-site veterinarian.
