March 23, 2025: Winner of the Prix St. Georges Liempde with a fine score of 69.56%. January 5, 2025: Prix St. Georges debut with 66.50%. Renate van Uytert van Vliet: “I am delighted to be paired with the handsome Furst Dior again after a very enjoyable and successful time with John Tijssen. Last January, we had a good Prix St. Georges debut together, and this year I hope to combine all the elements for a perfect test. Furst Dior has a very good attitude and is very easy to ride. He loves attention and knows perfectly well that he is the most handsome! In 2025, a son of Furst Dior, Fortuyn, was also licensed by the NRPS; this stallion was also praised for his good attitude. Furst Dior is also chestnut-free.” Fürst Dior, sired in 2023, demonstrated last winter that he sires beautiful and athletic horses. We are already seeing his offspring competing in several young horse competitions. One exceptional talent deserves special mention: Persönlichkeit (by Blue Hors Zack), bred by the Muilwijk family. This young stallion is making a strong impression everywhere he goes, including at the German Sport Horse Performance Test, the Pluvinel Young Horse Competition, and the VSN Trophy. This year, Fürst Dior presented a fine group of young stallions at the Ermelo Preview, and two were selected for Den Bosch. Both Rebound (by Easy Game) and Reich Dior (by Ferro) made a powerful impression and were sold for high prices at the KWPN Select Sale. Winner ZZ-Zwaar La Grande in Beuningen with a score of 72.43%. Winner ZZ-Zwaar Zilfia's Hoeve in Houten with a score of 69.43%. In 2022, Fürst Dior achieved great results under John Tijssen. They were recently Reserve Champion Z2 Dressage in South Holland in the selection for the National Championships. He has a lot of presence, a springy trot, and also jumps very nicely. If he continues to develop like this, Fürst Dior can become a stallion for both sport and breeding, as he also produced a number of very beautiful and commercially viable horses with his first crop during the KWPN preview in Ermelo. These are youthful horses that move with great technique. Phillipp-Plein was the first Fürst Dior son to be promoted. He was bred by us and the van Vliet family out of the mare Total Eclipse by the top stallions Totilas and De Niro. The reserve champion from Mecklenburg, sired by the German foundation stallions Fürstenball, Sir Donnerhall, and Rubinstein I, brings new winning blood to the next generation of dressage horses. His sire, Fürstenball, sire of the Olympic horse Heiline's Danciera ridden by Carina Cassøe, is increasingly becoming an influential stallion within European dressage breeding. In the 2021 WBFSH Sire Ranking, his dam's sire, Sir Donnerhall, is ranked third. Fürst Dior himself is developing very well under Renate van Uytert van Vliet. He is now six years old and they will compete in the Z-level this summer. He has a fantastic conformation, great breed, and a wonderful stallion appearance. His gaits are very natural and full of impulsion, qualities he passes on to his foals. The auction top seller of 2021 was Rieky's Design (Fürst Dior out of a Hermès dam), who sold for €35,000 to Scottish buyers during the EDS-Prinsenstad foal auction. In 2020, we saw many offspring by Fürst Dior. They often have the appearance of their sires Fürstenball and grandsire Sir Donnerhall. On average, they move with a beautiful upright posture and use their hindquarters well. They all have a lovely dark coat and a good front. It is also striking that many of his offspring have a very good walk. He was the sport test winner in Münster-Handorf with a very good score of 8.83: rideability 9.1, walk 9.2, trot 8.4, canter 8.5, total 8.83. His sire Fürstenball, himself a Bundeschampion (German National Champion), is a very influential stallion in European dressage breeding with many renowned offspring. At the World Championships for 7-year-old dressage horses, the foundation sire Fürstenball had no fewer than three offspring in the final. Bronze medalist Fürsten-Look, ridden by Isabel Freese, finished fourth, while the mare Heiline's Danciera, ridden by Carina Cassoe Krüth, and Nexolia Feodoro, ridden by Simone Pearce, placed 14th. Sir Donnerhall's damsire, himself Reserve World Champion, was ranked in the top 10 of the WBFSH Site Rankings in 2017. Sir Donnerhall's offspring have dominated the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf for years. Sa Coeur, ridden by Eva Möller, became World Champion in the 5- and 6-year-old dressage horse classes. Sir Donnerhall is a stallion who combines breed, appearance, and the qualities of a modern dressage horse. The third generation is the top sire and Grand Prix stallion Rubinstein I, who has produced a number of international Grand Prix horses, including Renoir-Unicef, Rohdiamant, Relevant, Robinson, Rubinstar, Ravell, and Rubiquil. But pedigree isn't the only important factor; his own quality and talent are equally crucial. Fürst Dior has a strong work ethic and is easy to train. We expect a very bright future for this talented stallion.
