  • The colorful stallion BALOU SYLT is a full brother to the licensed stallions Balou Peggio (premium OS stallion), Barpeggio (premium DSP stallion), and Corpeggio, as well as the 160cm show jumpers Broolyn 17 and Chacco R. His sire, Balou du Rouet, is a remarkable breeder! His offspring are among the most successful in both show jumping and eventing. This has earned Balou du Rouet a ranking in the WBFSH rankings of the world's best show jumping and eventing sires for the seventh consecutive time. His breeding credentials include: Baloutinue (ridden by Laura Kraut/USA), two-time team silver medalist in the Olympic show jumping events in Paris/FRA and Tokyo/JPN; Equitron Naxcel V (ridden by Gerfried Puck/AUT), European Championship team bronze medalist in Milan/ITA; Balotelli (ridden by Brianne Beerbaum), individual bronze medalist and German Junior Championship gold medalist; Corouet (ridden by Sarah Bullimore/GBR), European Eventing European Championship gold medalist in Avenches/SUI; and Balento CS (ridden by Emilie Conter/BEL), team gold and individual bronze medalist at the Young Riders Eventing European Championships in Vilamoura/POR. Nearly 100 of his offspring are successful in 1.60-meter show jumping. Thus, Balou du Rouet has long since become the heir apparent to his famous father, the Olympic champion and three-time World Cup winner Baloubet du Rouet. His other successful offspring include Bianca/Steve Guerdat/SUI, individual and team bronze medalist at the World Championships and eighth-place finisher in the World Cup in show jumping, as well as Billy the Red/Kristina Cook/GBR, team gold and silver medalist at the European Championships and ninth-place finisher at the World Championships in eventing. Other sure-fire winners include European Championship team bronze medalist Saura de Fondcombe/Nadja Peter Steiner/SUI, World Championship participant Brilliant du Rouet/Liubov Kochetova/RUS, Aachen fourth-place finisher Babalou/Darragh Kenny/IRL, as well as Baju NRW/Stefan Engbers, Millfield Baloney/Adrian Speight/GBR, Bastille/Martin Fuchs/SUI, Blue Balou/Angelos Touloupis/GRE, Balou Rubin/Pius Schwizer/SUI, Blossom Z/McLain Ward/USA, Balenciana K/Edouard Schmitz/SUI, Balotelli/Matthew Boddy/USA, Balou Z/Kevin Jochems/NED, Jiselle NS/Mckayla Langmeier/USA, Balance/Felix Haßmann, Bangkok Girl PP/Benjamin Wulschner, and Bantou Balou, all successful in Grand Prix, World Cup, and Nations Cup competitions. OLD/Laura Klaphake. At the top of the more than 70 licensed sons of Balou du Rouet are our serial Grand Prix winner, Baloutaire PS/Philip Rüping, as well as Balzaci/Felix Haßmann, Baccord/Gerrit Nieberg, and Balous Bellini/Lutz Gripshöver. Our OS Champion Stallion and Main Premium Winner, Conthalou, has Balou du Rouet on his dam's sire's side. From a breeding perspective, the premium stallion Baloubetto, auctioned for €90,000 at the Holsteiner licensing, the OS Reserve Champion mare Honey Star, and the champion colts and foals of the Goldfever Ring at the German Foal Championships should also be mentioned. His dam, Annecy, a daughter of Arpeggio - Romancier - Palisander, has already produced three other licensed sons and several show jumpers with successes up to 1.60m. The young stallion completed his stallion performance test / 50 TT as a three-year-old in autumn 2025 in Adelheidsdorf with the following scores:
