Bøgegårdens Gladiola, the champion stallion in the Danish Warmblood breed, was licensed and awarded premium stallion status in 2015. Following a highly convincing performance test in 2016, he was awarded the title of Fløjhingst (champion stallion) and won the Elvin Rasmussen Trophy as the best Danish-bred four-year-old stallion. The stallion comes from one of Denmark's most powerful dam lines. His dam, Bøgegårdens Acorona, belongs to the same dam line as Bøgegårdens Apollonia, an internationally successful stallion who placed at the 2016 World Championships. Also from this direct dam line is Bøgegårdens Quidam, who has achieved international Grand Prix success. The three-time World Champion of Young Dressage Horses, Sezuan, also traces his line back to this dam line. The sire, Bøgegårdens Graf's Stakkato, proved himself early as a sire, producing several licensed sons and numerous internationally successful show jumpers. In breeding, Bøgegårdens Gladiola demonstrates a high degree of reliability in passing on talent, technique, and temperament. His licensed son, Bøgegårdens Gladiator, won the Danish Show Jumping Championship as both a five- and six-year-old and qualified for the finals of the World Championships for Young Show Jumping Horses in Zangersheide in 2021 and 2022. His son, Genesis P, was named a premium stallion as a three-year-old in 2021 and, after an outstanding performance test, was awarded the title of Champion Stallion (Fløjhingst) as a four-year-old in 2022. In sport, Bøgegårdens Gladiola has competed successfully up to 1.60 meters. Under Lars Pedersen, he won the Danish Show Jumping Championships in 2020, 2021, and 2022, becoming the first horse in Danish history to win this title three times in a row. He also achieved numerous international Grand Prix placings. The stallion was part of the extended World Championship squad for Herning 2022 but was unable to participate due to injury. He represented Denmark at the European Championships in Milan in 2023 and in Lier in 2024.
