The stallion impressed with his movements in trot and canter, and also displayed exceptional lightness and jumping ability in walk. Besides his quality of movement and excellent rhythm, Royal Albert H is distinguished by his first-class character and great willingness to learn. His sire, Fontaine TN, is a son of Finest and comes from a successful Hanoverian dam line. Fontaine TN achieved top marks at his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, including 9.5 for canter, 9.0 for rideability, and 9.5 for willingness to work. Under rider Bart Veeze (NED), he won young horse classes. His dam, Karona, is a daughter of the KWPN stallion Geniaal (by Vivaldi), who won the VHO Trophy in the Netherlands and was successful in advanced dressage competitions with Dinja van Liere (NED). Further back in the pedigree are the influential KWPN stallions Uphill and Jazz. Royal Albert H will be used for breeding for the first time this year and at the same time carefully prepared for his future role as a sport horse.
