Fairmont Black

This year, this stallion particularly stood out at the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing. On the first day, in the triangular arena, he presented himself with a powerful forehand and excellent scope. His presence and powerful trot, supported by an exceptionally strong hindquarters, immediately impressed us. In the afternoon, all the two-and-a-half-year-old stallions were lunged, and here too he was among the best. He moved with great rhythm, power, and scope, showed good contact, and consistently raised his withers when entering the arena. On the second day of the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing, the free movement portion, he once again made a strong impression and demonstrated excellent transitions in both trot and canter. The audience also gave him a warm round of applause. He received a brilliant assessment from the judges for his walk and was accepted into one of the largest and most successful dressage studbooks in the world, the Hanoverian Studbook. This stallion was our first choice, and then we had to wait a very long time until it was finally his turn at the auction that evening. He was quite far back, which brought us luck, and after an exciting bidding war, we were finally able to win him. We are very happy with Farmont Hill, and he is doing splendidly at home as well. He is a lovely stallion with a lot of power, and we have already ridden him a few times. It is truly remarkable how much power comes from his hind legs.
